Robert A. "Teddy" Hall, LUTCF

Working in the insurance industry since finishing college, Teddy realized that this was the field he wanted to work in.  Teddy worked in the restaurant industry from High School until college and knew that service is something to 

BA -SOCIOLOGY- University of Arkansas - 1988.  With his study human behavior as it pertains to human interaction within the guidelines of an organizational structure, Teddy,  studies these behaviors.  This is important in the insurance field as to finding the right mix of needs, perceived and actual, and finding the right coverage or product to fit these needs.

CONTINUING EDUCATION
2000- Present – Anti-Money Laundering Training through LIMRA, and Jackson National Life as to new laws, requirements, etc. to avoid Money Laundering and Terrorism activities in financial world.

Dr. Hall passed away on 09/25/2021 from injuries received in an auto accident.  We are so thankful for his leadership, wisdom, and compassion for taking care of clients (friends) and we plan on continuing this leadership learned from him and continue the business.

Worked  with  State  Association of  Life  Underwriters  in research  and  presentation  to Insurance Department Hearings for Rule * Regulation #17 (cost disclosure  in life insurance)
Worked with Arkansas Insurance Commissioner for developing Rule and Regulation #14, dealing with regulation of sales of financed life insurance on college campuses.
Worked with Arkansas Insurance Commissioner for CLC Education Testing, manual, and program for P&C Insurance Agents.

Taught LUTC Classes to Insurance Agents in NW Arkansas.

 

1992-1994     WORTHEN TRUST COMPANY

Trust Officer, Contract Plan Administrator for over 125 retirement plans in NW Arkansas - did all plan administration duties including, filed 5500 report, 1099 reporting, distributions to participants, loans and forms, retirement projections, etc. - Corporations and Individuals and Tax Exempt Agencies.

 

1987- 1992     HALL SLOAN & ASSOC., INC.

Vice-President- Contract Plan Administrator for about 135 plans and performed all duties included with administration and compliance for Corporations and Individuals and Governmental Agencies.

 

1984-1987     FIRST STATE BANK, SPRINGDALE  (bought by Worthen Trust Company)

Trust Officer, Contract Plan Administrator, Self-Directed IRA administrator, IRA and Escrow Manager.  Began the first Plan Administration position for a Trust Department in NW Arkansas.

 

CONTINUING EDUCATION

2000- Present – Anti-Money Laundering Training through LIMRA, and Jackson National Life as to new laws, requirements, etc. to avoid Money Laundering and Terrorism activities in financial world.

 

2010 – Attended Governmental Affairs Conference – Washington, DC – Hearing on the status of current trends in Credit Unions, Financial Institutions, and the laws on the books.  We met with our State Representatives in D.C. to voice our concerns and desires with current federal regulations pending for the financial industry.
