Robin was chosen as a BREAST CARE ADVOCATE – POWELL/TATE (WEBER SHANDWICK) -RIGHT SCAN at RIGHT TIME–  07/2009 and 10/2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014

  • Selected to represent Arkansas and Rural States before Congress regarding the Health Reform Bill and the impact of the Bill on Radiologists in Rural Areas.  Because of our initiative the Health Care Bill accepted our recommendations on “usage” requirements for Rural areas and States.

  • 07/2009 – Spoke at a press meeting for  legislators and Washington, DC on the importance of Medical Imaging, Diagnosis, and the current health bill requirements for the Imaging Industry and Rural States.  

  • 2009 – Interviewed by local TV channels on the importance of Medical Imaging and the impact of the health care bill and again on the USPSTF’s finding regarding mammograms and age 50.  Interviews, with KFSM, Jones TV, KNWA, and 40/29TV may be seen:

  • 2010 – March Issued of Health Magazine- personal interview and article on the USPSTF’s findings of Mammograms not being necessary until age 50. Copy posted :

  • 2010 – Wrote and published an “op-ed” piece for the NW Arkansas Times on the United States Preventative Services Task Force (USPSTF) statement regarding the importance of mammograms and the decision for women to make with those findings. Copy posted:
